Shepherd of the Hills Church Choir expresses God’s word with music and song. We select the choir anthem in harmony with the church seasons, be it Lenten, Easter or Christmas. We are blessed with many fine voices that together are used to worship in a unique and beautiful way. Some of the choir anthems are written by today’s composers while others date from years back. One anthem the choir sings during Holy Week, Richard DeCastro’s ‘Prayer to Jesus’, is over six hundred years old, still beautiful, and a good window for church life in days long ago.

A major element of the choir is the part performed on the piano or organ. Here we have Julie Hunter, our fine accompanist.

We love to make a joyful sound to the Lord.
